The First Lady of Pakistan, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, attended the 5th Passing Out Parade and Annual Parents’ Day at Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls (BCCG) as the chief guest. Her visit included inaugurating the college’s newly completed gymnasium and swimming pool, participating in a tree plantation ceremony, and officially opening the “Art & Science Exhibition 2025-26”. She also inspected the guard of honour and met the faculty before addressing the cadets and parents.

In her speech, the First Lady highlighted BCCG’s historic role as the first girls’ cadet college in Pakistan, emphasizing its mission to empower young women through education, discipline, and leadership training. She praised the cadets’ dedication, faculty guidance, and the Sindh Government’s support in shaping confident and globally competitive young leaders. Drawing inspiration from the legacies of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, she encouraged cadets to uphold discipline, respect, and resilience in all aspects of life.

During the event, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari presented college crests and prizes, and witnessed march pasts, PT displays, gymnastics, and a karate show. Established in 2017 and managed with Pakistan Air Force support, BCCG currently enrolls 423 cadets and provides modern facilities including smart classrooms, science labs, sports grounds, and residential amenities. Her visit underscored the government’s commitment to empowering young women and nurturing future leaders in Pakistan.
