Prize Bond Checker
Enter your bond number to check it against the draw results loaded on this site. Type it however it is printed — leading zeros, spaces and dashes are all handled.
Until a draw is imported, the checker above cannot tell you whether a bond has won — it will say so rather than reporting a false "not a winner". Check the official list at savings.gov.pk in the meantime.
Denominations still issued
National Savings currently lists bearer prize bonds in Rs 100, Rs 200, Rs 750 and Rs 1,500. The larger bearer denominations were withdrawn and replaced by registered premium prize bonds of Rs 25,000 and Rs 40,000, which are held in your name rather than to bearer. If you are holding an old high-value bearer bond, check its encashment position with National Savings directly.
Tax on winnings
Prize money is taxed at 15% for filers and 30% for non-filers, deducted at source before payment. Being on the Active Taxpayers List roughly halves the deduction, which on a large prize is a substantial difference.
How to claim
Claims are submitted to a National Savings Centre or the State Bank with the original bond, your CNIC and the prescribed claim form. There is a statutory time limit on claims, so do not sit on a winning bond.
How to Use Prize Bond Checker
Prize Bond Checker
Prize bonds remain one of the most widely held savings instruments in Pakistan, and checking a number against a published list of several thousand winners is exactly the sort of task worth automating. This checker searches the draw results loaded on this site and tells you plainly which draws those are.
What the three results mean
A search returns one of three answers, and the distinction is deliberate. A match means your number appears in a loaded draw. No win found means the number was checked against loaded results and is not among them. Cannot check this one yet means no results have been loaded for that denomination, so the tool has nothing to compare against. Most checkers collapse the last two into "not a winner", which is how people are told a winning bond lost.
Denominations and the premium bond change
The bearer bonds still listed by National Savings are Rs 100, Rs 200, Rs 750 and Rs 1,500. The larger bearer denominations were withdrawn and replaced with registered premium prize bonds of Rs 25,000 and Rs 40,000, which are recorded in the holder's name. If you are still holding a withdrawn bearer bond, take it to National Savings and ask about its encashment position rather than waiting for it to appear in a draw.
Tax on winnings
Prize money is taxed at source: 15% for filers and 30% for non-filers. The gap is large enough that getting onto the Active Taxpayers List before claiming a substantial prize is worth the effort.
Avoiding prize bond scams
- No genuine prize requires a fee. Anyone asking for a payment to "release" or "process" your winnings is running a scam.
- National Savings does not call winners. Draws are published as lists; nobody contacts you.
- Never share your bond number with a caller. Bearer bonds belong to whoever holds them, and the number is enough to attempt a fraudulent claim.
- Verify on the official domain before acting on any result, including this one.

No. It searches only the draw results that have been imported into this site, and the page lists exactly which those are. If your draw is not loaded, the checker says so rather than reporting that you have not won — always confirm against the official National Savings list.
No. The checker strips leading zeros, spaces and dashes before searching, so a bond printed 083426 is found whether you type 083426, 83426 or 08-34-26.
