UHS Merit List 2026: How the Aggregate Is Reportedly Calculated and What to Verify

We could not confirm the 2026-27 schedule or rules on UHS or PMDC pages. Here is the reported formula, a worked example, and a checklist for checking official notices yourself.
UHS Merit List 2026: How the Aggregate Is Reportedly Calculated and What to Verify

If you are waiting for the UHS merit list 2026, here is the short answer. Weekly Pakistan could not confirm the 2026-27 admission schedule, list dates, objection window or merit rules on the University of Health Sciences (UHS) or PMDC websites. Treat every detail below as unconfirmed until you see it in an official notice.

What we can share is the merit formula and process as described by one secondary source, a test-prep company's blog. That blog says UHS weighs matric at 10%, FSc at 40% and MDCAT at 50% (Maqsad blog). We have not checked this against UHS.

The reported aggregate formula

According to the Maqsad blog, UHS works out merit like this:

  • Matric: 10%
  • FSc or equivalent: 40%
  • MDCAT: 50%

UHS has not been confirmed as using this split for 2026-27. UHS may also work from raw marks rather than simple percentages, which can change your final figure slightly. Check the method in the official admission notice.

How to estimate your aggregate

You can get a rough estimate in three steps, using the reported weights.

  1. Turn each result into a percentage: your marks divided by total marks, times 100.
  2. Multiply: matric % by 0.10, FSc % by 0.40, MDCAT % by 0.50.
  3. Add the three results. That is your estimated aggregate.

Here is a sample calculation with made-up marks. These are not real cut-offs.

PartYour %WeightPoints
Matric9010%9.0
FSc8540%34.0
MDCAT8050%40.0
Total83.0

To speed up step 1, use our Percentage Calculator. You can also try the Merit Calculator, but set the weights to whatever UHS confirms for this year.

We are not publishing past closing merits. The only figure we found had no year attached and is not from UHS, so it cannot help you judge your chances.

Eligibility, as reported

The Maqsad blog lists these requirements. None are confirmed for 2026-27:

  • Pakistani nationality, or overseas Pakistani status.
  • At least 60% in FSc Pre-Medical.
  • A Punjab domicile, or the right province for quota seats.
  • An IBCC equivalence certificate for A-Level or foreign qualifications.

The same blog says MDCAT passing marks are 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS, and credits these to PMDC (Maqsad blog). PMDC can change these marks, so check the MDCAT 2026 notification on PMDC's website.

Provisional list, objections and final list

The blog describes the process this way (Maqsad blog):

  1. UHS releases a provisional merit list first.
  2. Candidates can object to errors in it.
  3. A final merit list follows.

We could not confirm whether the 2026-27 provisional list is out, or when the objection window opens or closes. Do not rely on dates from social media posts or forwarded screenshots. Check the UHS website and admissions portal directly.

What to check on the provisional list

  • Your name, CNIC or B-Form number and father's name.
  • Your matric, FSc and MDCAT marks, against your own result cards.
  • Your domicile and seat category.
  • Your calculated aggregate, against your own estimate.

If anything is wrong, follow the objection method in the official UHS notice and keep copies of your documents ready. If your FSc marks look wrong, also check your board's result. For Lahore candidates, see our BISE Lahore page.

How to apply, as reported

The Maqsad blog outlines these steps. Confirm them on the UHS portal before you start:

  1. Register on the UHS portal with your CNIC or B-Form.
  2. Enter your academic and MDCAT details.
  3. Upload your documents.
  4. Choose your colleges.
  5. Pay the fee at the bank.
  6. Submit before the deadline.

We do not know the 2026-27 fee or deadline. Get both from the official notice only.

After you are selected

According to the same blog, selected students:

  • Pay the admission fee.
  • Complete the medical fitness steps.
  • Join classes on the notified date.

A note on sources

Our one source is a commercial blog, not UHS or PMDC. It also contradicts itself on dates and describes who runs MDCAT in a way that may be out of date. So we have used it only for the general formula and process, and left out its dates. We will update this guide once we confirm details on UHS and PMDC pages.

Key Takeaways

  • No 2026-27 date, fee or rule here is confirmed by UHS or PMDC.
  • The reported formula is 10% matric, 40% FSc and 50% MDCAT.
  • Estimate your aggregate by weighting each percentage and adding them.
  • Check the provisional list carefully and object only through the official UHS method.
  • Ignore screenshots and social posts; use the UHS and PMDC websites.
