When is the BISE Swat result 2026 announced?

Matric (SSC) results are normally declared between July and August and Intermediate (HSSC) results between August and September, about three to four months after the annual papers. BISE Swat confirms the exact date and time in a press notification on its official website a few days beforehand — dates circulating on social media before that notification are not official.

BISE Swat Result 2026 — Complete Guide

Everything you need to check your BISE Swat result

Result day is chaotic. Portals go down under load, rumours about the announcement date spread faster than the notification itself, and half the students who need their marks cannot find their roll number slip. This guide covers each of those problems for BISE Swat candidates, from the fastest way to open your marks sheet to what to do if the number on it is not the one you expected.

How to check your BISE Swat result 2026 by roll number

The roll number method is the only one every Pakistani board supports, and it is the quickest:

  1. Enter your roll number in the checker at the top of this page and select your class — 9th, Matric, 1st year, 2nd year, FSc, FA, ICS or I.Com.
  2. You are taken to the official BISE Swat result page in a new tab. We never store or process the number you type.
  3. Enter or confirm the roll number there and submit. Your marks sheet lists each subject, the marks obtained, the total and your grade.
  4. Save a copy. Screenshot it or download the PDF, because portals get very slow in the hours right after an announcement and you will want the record.

If the page will not load at all on result day, that is almost always load rather than a problem with your roll number. Wait twenty minutes and try again, ideally from mobile data rather than a crowded school Wi-Fi connection.

How to check the BISE Swat result by name

Losing a roll number slip is common, and searching by name is what most students try next. Be aware that Pakistani boards index results by roll number, so a name search is not guaranteed to exist. Three approaches, in the order worth trying:

  • The board's own name search. Open the BISE Swat result portal and look for a "search by name" or "student name" field. Where it exists, type your name exactly as it appears on your admission form — spelling variations are the usual reason a search returns nothing.
  • The result gazette. The gazette is the complete PDF list of candidates with names and marks. Open it, then press Ctrl+F on a computer or use "Find in page" from your browser menu on a phone, and search your name. This works even when the portal has no name field, and it is the method most students end up using.
  • Your school or college office. They keep the roll number slips and an institutional copy of the gazette. One phone call usually recovers your roll number, after which the roll number method above is far faster.

Our full walkthrough of the gazette method, including what to do when your name is spelled differently on the board record, is in how to check a BISE result by name without a roll number.

BISE Swat roll number slip 2026

Regular candidates receive roll number slips through their school or college head before the papers begin. If yours never arrived, or you are appearing as a private candidate, download it from the roll number slip section of the board website using the CNIC or registration number you entered on the admission form. The slip carries your roll number, examination centre and centre address — check the centre details as carefully as the roll number, because candidates are occasionally allotted a centre in a different town.

BISE Swat date sheet 2026

The date sheet is published several weeks before the examination and lists each paper with its date, day and timing. Boards do revise date sheets — a paper moved because of a public holiday or a security situation is not unusual — so check the official date sheet page again in the week before your first paper rather than relying on a copy shared in a WhatsApp group.

Understanding your marks: grade, division and percentage

Your result card shows marks. Admission forms and merit lists want a percentage, a grade or a division — and those run on different scales, which is where most of the confusion on result day comes from.

PercentageGradeDivision
80% and aboveA1 — Exceptional1st division
70% – 79%A — Excellent1st division
60% – 69%B — Very Good1st division
50% – 59%C — Good2nd division
40% – 49%D — Fair3rd division (from 33%)
33% – 39%E — Satisfactory3rd division
Below 33%F — Fail

A student on 62 per cent therefore holds a B grade and a 1st division at the same time; neither figure is wrong, they simply answer different questions. Work out your own numbers with the Marks Percentage Calculator, and read how percentage, grades and divisions are calculated before you fill in a college form.

If you are moving on to university, the figure that decides admission is not your percentage but a weighted aggregate of Matric, Intermediate and your entry test. The Merit Calculator works that out for MDCAT, ECAT, NUST NET or any custom formula.

If the result is not what you expected

Two routes exist, and they are not the same thing. Re-checking asks the board to confirm that every question was marked and the marks were totalled correctly — it is a re-totalling exercise, not a fresh assessment of your answers, so it recovers marks lost to an addition error or an unmarked question. Apply within the deadline on the result notification, usually 15 to 30 days, and pay the per-paper fee.

Supplementary examinations are for failed subjects. Passing the aggregate while failing one paper means sitting that paper again in the supplementary session, normally held a few months after the annual result, rather than repeating the year. Before paying a re-checking fee, work out how many marks actually separate you from the next grade band — re-checking rarely finds thirty marks, but for a gap of five or ten it is often worth the fee.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I check my BISE Swat result 2026 by roll number?
Enter your roll number in the result checker at the top of this page and choose your class. That opens the official BISE Swat result page at https://www.bisess.edu.pk, where your marks sheet is displayed. Keep the roll number slip with you, because the portal will not accept a name or registration number in the roll number field.
How do I check the BISE Swat result by name without a roll number?
First check whether the BISE Swat result portal offers a name search field, and if it does, type your name exactly as written on your admission form. If there is no name field, open the result gazette — the full PDF list of candidates — and use Ctrl+F, or "Find in page" on a phone, to search your name. Your school or college office can also look up your roll number from their own records.
When will the BISE Swat result 2026 be announced?
Boards in Pakistan normally announce Matric (SSC) results between July and August, and Intermediate (HSSC) results between August and September, roughly three to four months after the annual papers held in March, April and May. BISE Swat publishes the exact date and time as a press notification on its official website shortly before the announcement, so treat any date circulating on social media before that as unconfirmed.
How do I download the BISE Swat roll number slip 2026?
Roll number slips are issued to regular candidates through their school or college head before the examination begins. Private candidates, and anyone whose slip has not arrived, can download it from the roll number slip section of the BISE Swat website using the CNIC or registration number used on the admission form.
What is the passing mark in BISE Swat exams?
The pass mark is 33 per cent, and it applies to each individual subject as well as to the aggregate. Passing overall while failing one subject still means sitting a supplementary paper in that subject rather than repeating the whole year.
How do I apply for re-checking of a BISE Swat result?
Apply through the re-checking section of the BISE Swat website within the deadline printed on the result notification, which is usually 15 to 30 days after the announcement, and pay the per-paper fee. Re-checking in Pakistani boards is a re-totalling exercise: the board confirms that every question was marked and that the marks were added correctly. It is not a fresh re-marking of your answers, so it corrects arithmetic and missed questions rather than changing an examiner's judgement.
What classes and groups does BISE Swat conduct exams for?
BISE Swat conducts examinations for 9th class and Matric at the secondary level, and for FA, FSc pre-medical and pre-engineering, ICS and I.Com at the intermediate level, serving candidates across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
